Brad Dollar
Lead engineer and assistant director of recording services Brad Dollar, is a dedicated member of the Bay Area’s diverse music scene. Born and raised in the East Bay, Brad has been playing music since the age of 7, performing as a guitarist in local bands since he was 11 and recording since age 15. By 18, Brad had become deeply involved in the booking and promotion of bands and clubs all over the Bay Area, built a DIY venue from the ground up and developed a deep appreciation for audio engineering.Upon high school graduation, Brad enrolled at Ex’pression College for Digital Arts where he earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Sound Arts. He has had the honor of serving as Stephen Hart’s assistant and has worked with artists as varied as the Brubeck Jazz Orchestra, Built for the Sea, Narada Michael Walden, Terrence Brewer, The Flaming Tsunamis and many more. Brad is a Digidesign Certified ProTools Music Production and Post Production Operator, as well as a member of the Grammy Academy’s Producers & Engineers Wing. He is deeply passionate about being an engineer and looks forward to doing it for the rest of his life.
